Tuition And Fees
Summer 2008
The cost for the summer program which includes tuition, room, and full meal service, is $1,300  per month/$325 per week. It does not cover airfare, medical expenses, school trips, etc. Those unable to pay the full tuition may apply for "Financial Aid Request Form" in the appropriate section of the application.

A student may choose to reside off campus and/or provide her own meals. In such a case, the room and/or board fees will be deducted.

Tuition and fees are payable in U.S. dollars or in the equivalent exchange rate on the date on which payment is made. Questions on tuitions and fees should be referred to the Assistant Registrar Mr. Starrglass at: Dstarrglass@nevey.org

Medical Coverage
Every student must be covered by medical insurance while she is enrolled at Neve. If she has a pre-existing medical condition, she must obtain medical insurance from home that covers overseas stays. Proof of this coverage must be brought with her when she arrives at Neve.

If the student does not have a pre-existing medical condition, she must join one of two Israeli health plans that are offered through Neve. The first health plan, which costs U.S. $50.00, and covers a full year, provides coverage for hospitalization only (up to 90 days) in cases of injury or serious illness occurring for the first time in Israel (pre-existing conditions are not included). The plan does not cover visits to doctors' offices, the cost of medication, or dental work. The second plan, costing approximately U.S. $1.00 a day, covers hospitalization, doctors' visits, and prescription costs, but does not include dental work. It is recommended that students who stay for the summer program only, should enroll in the second plan that gives broader coverage and costs less.

Application Procedure
Thank you for your interest in applying to the School of General Jewish Studies of Neve Yerushalayim College.

There are two stages in the application process:

Stage I -
Filling in and submitting the application

There are 3 options for applying to Neve online:
For all of these 3 options you must have some version of Adobe Reader on your computer: Click here to download Adobe Reader 8.

OPTION 1:  PRINT OUT THE APPLICATION FORM AND FILL IT IN BY HAND.

·     Click here to print out the application form.

·     When prompted, save the document to your computer.  Pay attention to what the file is named and to where you are saving it so that you can find it later.

·     Open the file that you saved and print it out and fill it in.

·     Make sure your name is written on each page of the application.

·     You may then fax it to Neve at  *972 2 651-6268 or mail it to the address that appears on the application form. Alternatively, you can scan in the completed version of your application and then send it as an email attachment to NeveAdmissions@nevey.org.

·     If you scan your application, be sure that each file that you create is not bigger than 2 or 3 MB. In order to ensure that you files do not become too large, we advise that you scan and save each 2 pages of your application into separate files and then email each file in separate emails.

OPTION 2:  FILL IN THE APPLICATION ON-LINE WITH ADOBE 8.0 OR LATER.

·     If you do not have at least Adobe Acrobat Reader version 8.0, we strongly advise that you download and install it by clicking here. If you can not install Adobe Acrobat version 8.0 use Option 3 below.

·        Click here to download the application form. When prompted, save the document to your computer.  Pay attention to what the file is named and to where you are saving it so that you can find it later.

·        Go to where you saved the application on your computer and open it by double clicking on the file name.

·        You may fill in the application by typing in the fields in the form. If you do not finish filling out the form, you may save the form and continue at a later time.

·        When completed (all required fields must be filled in), click on the "submit" button at the bottom of the application and follow the instructions for emailing the application.

·        If you do not have email, you can print out the completed form and either fax as stated in option 1 or send the form via regular mail to the address that appears on the first page of the application form.

OPTION 3:  FILL IN THE APPLICATION WITH OLDER VERSIONS OF ADOBE

·        If you cannot download Adobe Reader 8.0, but you do have an older version of Adobe Reader, you can still fill in the form on your computer, but you will not be able to save the information that YOU type in. This means that you will have to fill in the application all at once and then click "submit". You will then be prompted as to how to email your form.

 ·     Click here to download the application form.

·        If for any reason your computer is shut down you will lose all the information that you have entered.
