| Post-Shalhevet |
The aim of the Post-Shalhevet seminar is to provide
continuing education for the Bais Yaakov Seminary graduate who
previously studied in Eretz Yisroel and then returned to her country
of origin. The program offers the student the opportunity to renew
her seminary idealism and to experience the best that Eretz Yisroel
has to offer in a more realistic light. Students in the program are
challenged concurrently in the areas of textual learning,
hashkafa, and mussar.
This summer's 14th annual Post-Shalhevet seminar
draws upon Yerushalayim's finest teachers to produce a varied,
high-quality, and intensive course of learning. Included in our
faculty are: Rabbi Dovid Refson (Dean), Rabbi Dovid Kass (Director
of Post-Shalhevet and Moreshet), Rabbi Dovid Abramov, Rabbi Nosson
Geisler, Rabbi Yehoshua Hartman, Rabbi Leib
Kelemen, Harav Mordechai Neugershel, Rabbi Menachem Nissel, Rabbi Yonasson Taub,
Harav Mendel Weinbach, Mrs.
Tziporah Heller, and Mrs. Rina Tarshish. In addition, there is a fascinating array of guest
speakers.
It is very difficult for young women to take four
weeks out of their busy summer schedule to come to study in Eretz
Yisroel. They have to overcome the pressures of pursuing
shidduchim, earning money, taking summer college courses,
etc. Those who make the effort to participate in the Post-Shalhevet
seminar, however, learn a great deal and gain tremendous inspiration
and chizuk. They are able to overcome the debilitating
effects of living and studying in Chutz LaAretz and succeed in maintaining
their high spiritual level.

| Moreshet |
The Moreshet Seminar is primarily aimed at Post-Shalhevet graduates, full-time mechanchot, and kiruv workers who wish to fight the spiritual holocaust afflicting Klal Yisroel. The program was inspired by the success of the Moreshet Year program and by the renowned one-week Winter Seminar for teachers.
In the Moreshet Seminar, students study Jewish philosophy, hashkafa and kiruv techniques. They acquire knowledge and skills to do effective outreach work. As a result of the program, students return to their country of origin inspired and motivated to bring their fellow Jews closer to a Torah way of life.
The teaching staff of the summer program draws from the regular Moreshet faculty: Rabbi Dovid Refson (Dean), Rabbi Dovid Kass, Rabbi Avrohom Edelstein (Director of Heritage House), Rabbi Zecharya Greenwald, Rabbi Leib Kelemen,
Harav Mordechai Neugershel, and Harav Mendel Weinbach, Dr. Judith Mishell, and Mrs. Tziporah Heller.
