The Neve School of General Jewish Studies is unique, unparalleled in size and scope to any other school offering full-time Jewish studies. During the course of a year, more than 500 students participate in its multifaceted program. Some come for one to two years of study; others for a shorter period.

Although the student body is large, Neve is able to create the intimacy of a small school. Classes are composed of only 15-20 students, and no more than 8-12 students occupy a four-bedroom dormitory apartment. In such an atmosphere, students bond readily with their teachers and with their fellow students.

Neve has been designed as a home away from home, providing a supportive environment for the student's journey of spiritual discovery and personal growth. The dedicated faculty, composed of level directors, teachers, tutors, housemothers, and counselors, is always available for consultation on personal and religious problems. Intellectual discussions abound in every corner of Neve. In the classrooms, dining hall, corridors, and dormitories, you can hear impassioned deliberations about the meaning of life, the purpose of one's existence, and the role of G-d in guiding one's behavior.
