(Sunday - Thursday from 9:00AM - 2:00PM Israel Time)
The program of the Neve School of General Jewish Studies is unique, unparalleled in size and scope to any other school offering full-time Jewish studies. During the course of a year, more than 500 students participate in its multifaceted program. Some come for one to two years of study; others for a shorter period.
Although the student body is large, Neve is able to create the intimacy of a small school. Classes are composed of only 15-20 students, and no more than 8-12 students occupy a four-bedroom dormitory apartment. In such an atmosphere, students bond readily with their teachers and with their fellow students.
Neve has been designed as a home away from home, providing a supportive environment for the student's journey of spiritual discovery and personal growth. The dedicated faculty, composed of level directors, teachers, tutors, housemothers, and counselors, is always available for consultation on personal and religious problems. Intellectual discussions abound in every corner of Neve. In the classrooms, dining hall, corridors, and dormitories, you can hear impassioned deliberations about the meaning of life, the purpose of one's existence, and the role of G-d in guiding one's behavior.
This process of growth and change is mirrored in the school itself. Neve's educational staff does its best to listen, accept, and act upon constructive criticism. The school is always receptive to updating its structure and curriculum so that it can meet the challenges of changing trends and technology.
At Neve, every student is valued, respected, and admired for her own accomplishments and potential. The uniqueness of the student body makes each Neve school year special and distinctive. The doors of the Neve program are open for your participation in this experience.
