The Moreshset curriculum is made up of Jewish studies (limudei kodesh) and general academic studies, all of which can be applied to an accredited undergraduate degree.
Moreshet students can earn a B.A. in Humanities, Liberal Studies or Psychology from Thomas Edison State College. The humanities and liberal studies options include a core in education. All Moreshet courses are included in the Maalot Yerushalayim / Zaidner Institute curriculum. These courses were reviewed by the American Council on Education (ACE) and found to be comparable to courses given at major American colleges and universities. Students study in Jewish philosophy, analyze difficult Biblical texts, and examine issues of primary importance to Jewish women. Courses are also given in many areas of psychology, in general education, and in Jewish studies curriculum. The course of study is at least one year in duration, but may be longer depending on the student's prior seminary or college background.
The faculty includes leading educators who have had great success in the fields of education and outreach. They give generously of their time in order to create a cadre of qualified and inspired graduates.
